The Irish Society of Neuroradiology is delighted to invite you to its fourth annual meeting. This will be held in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in St Stephen’s Green in Dublin on May 25th and 26th 2017.
Previous meetings in 2014, 2015 and 2016 have been a great success with a mixture of local and international speakers with a focus on neuroradiology and head and neck imaging.
For our fourth meeting, we aim to present a series of educational and refresher talks and lectures. The topics include and relate to multiple sclerosis, cerebral vasculitis, CSF leaks, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, neonatal brain imaging, spinal trauma, spinal vascular lesions and several head and neck imaging topics, among others. This will be complemented by a series of afternoon workshop sessions including use of anaesthesia in the radiology department and interactive and realtime CT angiography workshop. For the first time, we have a workshop with a simulator device for cerebral aneurysm coiling and endovascular stroke treatments.
We are delighted to welcome to our meeting, Prof Tarek Yousry from Queens Square in London, Dr Richard Farb from the University Health Network in Toronto and Prof Adam Waldman from Neuroimaging Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. Prof Yousry will speak on MRI post treatment of multiple sclerosis. Dr Farb will speak on both CSF leaks and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Prof Waldman will speak on brain tumours and the new 2016 WHO CNS tumour classification.
CME and CPD credits will be awarded for attendance at both the lectures and the workshops. We look forward to welcoming you back to Dublin to what we hope will be a successful meeting.
