RANZCR Faculty of Clinical Radiology (FCR) Expressions of Interest

The College is currently seeking the active involvement of its Members for a number of positions starting from 1 January 2023. If you possess the drive to contribute strategically to your professional organisation, now is the time to put yourself forward.

Diagnostic Economic Committee (DEC)

The DEC supports Faculty of Clinical Radiology Council in developing policies to inform and influence governments and other decision makers, including the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), about the importance and sustainability of clinical radiology in Australia.

Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee (AIC)

The AIC oversees the development of AI specific materials such as standards of practice and training modules, as well as considering the implications of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the disciplines of clinical radiology and radiation oncology.

Clinical Radiology Research Committee

The Clinical Radiology Research Committee promotes the critical importance of research through development of research skills, development of strategic partnerships and administration of grants and awards. 

Applications close 7 October 2022.

Professional Practice Committee

The Professional Practice Committee is responsible for providing guidance and oversight of the development, implementation and review of post-fellowship learning including CPD, professional standards, range of practice, professional development and subspecialty recognition programs within the Faculty.

Interventional Radiology Committee

The IRC is a standing committee that provides the Faculty of Clinical Radiology Council with advice and information on educational, professional and practice issues for all aspects of interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology. The Committee assists in the promotion of interventional radiology (IR) and interventional neuroradiology (INR) as radiological specialties and ensures that clinical radiologists are supported to provide best-practice interventional care to patients delivered in an evidence-based, quality and sustainable way.
