Congratulations to Dr Sam White, from the Royal Adelaide Hospital, who has been successfully awarded a $5000 research grant.
His project titled:
Establishing a machine learning pipeline to automate tumour segmentation from written radiology report data will utilise the funds to act as booster funding towards a Macquarie University machine learning PhD student top-up salary. Under the supervision of Dr Yuankai Qi (Assistant Professor, Macquarie University), the PhD student will develop the language-guided segmentation models to automatically annotate tumour masks.
